WPS Line Mechanic

World Product Solutions – Saint Petersburg, FL

General Overview of Responsibilities

Is the first point of contact in case of mechanical and process malfunction on production lines
Works with Maintenance Supervisor to establish, review, improve and execute plant maintenance system standards
Undertakes daily reporting and updates including documentation of maintenance activities performed on equipment
Provides support on projects on the production floor and to determine recommended spare part list.
Participates in new equipment installation and start up processes
Leads major and minor maintenance of automated and non-automated equipment.
Operates and performs changeovers of automated equipment.
Confirms in-house availability of tools, change and spare parts required to keep production running. Coordinates with upstream and downstream processes by working with others on timing of effective changeovers.
Implement and follow 5S initiative.
Troubleshoots, performs major and minor repairs
Preventive maintenance as required to ensure equipment reliability and on-going production
Works with OEM & consultants to solve equipment related problems
Highlights potential maintenance issues and takes corrective action including parts requisitioning and maintenance planning
Fabricates simple machine parts using the required shop equipment such as: lathe, drill press, milling machine and others
Replaces mechanic, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment when needed
Stays abreast of teams’ production performance (visual) and reports to supervisor
Applies continuous improvement tools.
Understands and adheres to Environmental, Occupational, Health and Safety requirements
Understands and adheres to all Quality, Good Manufacturing Practices and Micro Cleaning & Sanitization Guidelines and standards
Maintains work area to required housekeeping standards. Performs housekeeping activities as per established protocol and conducts/participates in area housekeeping assessments per requirement
Shares knowledge and develops maintenance skills.
Other job functions may be assigned.
Typical work day can range from 10 -12 hours.
Job requires occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds. This job also requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Education:

Quality Assurance Assistant (Document Control)

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Private Label Sk.in NA LLC is looking to add a friendly, highly motivated, personable, detail-oriented individual to our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to communicate effectively/professionally. You must be able to multi-task, learn/adapt quickly, maintain a professional demeanor and work well with limited supervision. Each Quality team member is committed to providing exceptional customer service, beyond our basic job duties.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide efficient and professional administrative support to the Quality Manager.
Organize and accurately maintain filing system of company documentation.
Develop/update SOPs.
Utilize math and computer skills.
Proof various types of company forms, documents and labels.
Inspect, approve and store incoming raw materials.
Create, inspect, review, approve, close-out and store company records using company software.
Inspect components, products and/or processes to ensure conformance.
Inspect and review batch records for accuracy and compliance.
Provide in-process inspection and evaluate the quality of components of finished product.
Record inspection results by completing checklists and updating spreadsheets.

Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Lead will oversee the daily activities of the quality assurance department and staff. He / she will assist in developing, implementing, and maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) and reliability testing for the organizations products and/or processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
Reports / recommends discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy to the Head of Quality.

Objective / Requirements

Seeking experienced individuals for compounding / chemical blending. The Bulk Batcher will be responsible for producing cosmetic, drug batches and sampling raw materials on a daily basis to meet the scheduled requirements. This individual will serve as hands on personnel for weighing, batching and sampling. This position will be responsible for insuring batching; weighing and sampling areas are setup and operating to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety. Key attributes for this position are multitasking, follow-through; good mathematical skills; detail oriented; and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain schedule efficiency to meet production goals
Follow production schedule and work with warehouse to get orders pulled and staged. Verify components.
Ability to communicate objectives to the line and report results to production management team
Batching/weighing/sampling materials using the metric system.
Handling raw materials and understanding safety procedures associated with handling raw materials.
Mixing chemicals per written instructions.
Operating large scales, small balances forklift, blenders and processing tanks.
Make suggestions for solutions to support daily results, improvement in safety, quality, cost, and reliability.
Ability to comprehend on-the-job training.
Perform room releases.
Attend Daily Operational Reviews.
Ability to understand deviations, non-conformances, protocols, SOPs.

Primary contacts of the Bulk Batcher will include Production/Batching Workers, Operators, Supervisor, Manager; Warehousing, Maintenance, and Quality.

Bulk Batcher will report directly to the Team Leader.

Ship/Receiving Associate

Job Duties

Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders provided by the supervisor.
Count items to ensure that the correct number has been received.
Determine storage areas for incoming items to designated storage areas and supervise storage activities.
Operate forklift to pick boxes and transport them to checking area.
Ascertain the quality of picked items and ensure that they are safely delivered to the delivery pallet.
Assist in loading/unloading truck.
Determine safe ways to stacking items for safe retrieving items.

Graphic Designer

World Product Solutions – Saint Petersburg, FL

Job Description

The Graphic Designer at World Product Solutions is responsible for providing graphic design services for our internal marketing department as well as product label and packaging design services for client requests. The graphic designer works closely with the design production manager and creative director, as well as the sales team, compliance team, and product development team to help provide customers on-trend creative packaging solutions for their selected health and beauty focused products. Some customers require very little design attention and others require custom concepts from start to finish. This position requires strong communication skills, design and branding experience, pre-press knowledge, and an ability to stay on task in a deadline driven environment. High attention to detail is key to success in this position.

Responsibilities include:

Learning and understanding health and beauty industry compliance regulations and providing compliant artwork to customers
Learning and understanding our list of products offered, their active ingredients, directions, claims, and cautions
Responsible for prepress management/prepping artwork for production and understanding the process, keeping artwork files organized, up to date, and filed appropriately
Providing branded renders and house-made samples of labels and packaging to sales teams for new business opportunities
Understanding creative requests/ability to work independently, quickly, and without distraction
Provide on-brand design concepts that make sense for our customers
Responsible for meeting deadlines and managing time accordingly
Corporate collateral design, including brochures, business cards, trade show banners, etc.
